Indira Gandhi Govt. Dental College is located in the city of temples ‘Jammu’, Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir. It teaches Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) and Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) courses in various specialty.

The Indira Gandhi Govt. Dental College is amongst the two Government Dental Colleges in the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir. The College has nearly 250 students in its under graduate course and 14 in the post graduate course. IGGDC offers specialty training in the following dental specialty areas: Oral and maxillofacial surgery, Periodontics, Conservative Dentistry & Endodontics, Orthodontics, Pedodontics & Preventive dentistry, Prosthodontics, Oral pathology.
