MDS Specialities & Curriculum

Surgical management of diseases, injuries and defects of the oral and maxillofacial region. Advanced training in dentoalveolar surgery, trauma, implants and reconstructive procedures.
Advanced training in preservation of tooth structure and endodontic treatment. Includes biomaterials, adhesive dentistry, rotary endodontics and microscope-assisted procedures.
Rehabilitation of missing teeth and oral structures. Training in complete and partial dentures, fixed restorations, implant prosthetics and maxillofacial prosthetics.
Diagnosis and treatment of malocclusion and dentofacial deformities. Includes fixed appliances, functional appliances, orthognathic surgery planning and cleft rehabilitation.
Comprehensive dental care for children from infancy through adolescence. Includes behaviour management, interceptive orthodontics and community preventive dentistry.
Diagnosis and treatment of periodontal diseases and conditions affecting supporting structures of teeth. Includes periodontal surgery, implantology and tissue regeneration.
Diagnosis of oral mucosal diseases, orofacial pain and advanced radiological imaging. Includes CBCT, digital radiography and systemic disease manifestations in oral cavity.
Histopathological and cytological diagnosis of oral diseases. Training in advanced laboratory techniques, immunohistochemistry, molecular pathology and oral oncology.
