Admission Procedure

BDS 2025–26: Admissions are conducted through JKBOPEE based on NEET UG scores. Counselling schedule will be notified on the JKBOPEE website.

Qualify NEET UG

Appear and qualify the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET UG) conducted by NTA. Minimum 50th percentile required (40th for SC/ST/OBC).

Register on JKBOPEE Portal

Visit www.jkbopee.gov.in and complete the online registration for BDS counselling. Upload required documents.

Document Verification

Attend document verification at the designated centre as per JKBOPEE schedule. Carry all original documents and attested photocopies.

Choice Filling & Seat Allotment

Fill college and subject preferences online. Seat allotment is done merit-wise based on NEET score and category.

Reporting to IGGDCJ

After allotment, report to IGGDCJ Jammu within the stipulated time with original documents and pay the admission fee to confirm your seat.

Qualify NEET PG

Appear and qualify the NEET PG examination conducted by NBE. A valid NEET PG score is mandatory for MDS admissions.

Internship Completion

Completion of 12-month compulsory rotatory internship after BDS is mandatory. Internship completion certificate must be submitted.

Registration on JKBOPEE Portal

Register at www.jkbopee.gov.in for MDS counselling. Upload all required documents including BDS degree and registration certificate.

Document Verification & Choice Filling

Attend verification centre as per schedule. Fill speciality and college preferences online for seat allotment.

Reporting to IGGDCJ

Report to IGGDCJ Jammu after seat allotment with all original documents and pay the prescribed fee to confirm MDS admission.

Eligibility Criteria

📘 BDS Eligibility
  • Passed 10+2 / Higher Secondary with Physics, Chemistry & Biology.
  • Minimum 50% aggregate in PCB (40% for SC/ST/OBC).
  • Must have qualified NEET UG with minimum cut-off percentile.
  • Minimum age: 17 years as on 31st December of admission year.
  • Must be a permanent resident / domicile of J&K UT (for state quota).
📙 MDS Eligibility
  • Must hold a BDS degree from a DCI-recognised institution.
  • Completion of 12-month compulsory rotating internship after BDS.
  • Must be registered with State / Central Dental Council.
  • Must have qualified NEET PG with valid score.
  • Must be a permanent resident / domicile of J&K UT (for state quota).
